Why we give.
God is generous and so he calls us to be as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances. We believe Scripture gives a precedent for believers of 10% (a tithe) that is returned to God's house, the Church, as an act of faith and obedience. In our faithful obedience, God promises to provide all our needs and bless us. As He does so, what we give above tithe is called offerings. These are given in thanksgiving from the heart because of God's gracious abundance and help increase His kingdom beyond the local church.
